SFS Carried out the Reception Day of Dean and Party Secretary (Third Phase)

May, 12, 2021, School of Foreign Studies of UPC(SFS) has carried out the third phase of Reception Day of Dean and Party Secretary. Professor Mao Haoran, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies of UPC, Zhang Yongning, Party secretary in the school, and other leaders of the school attended the activity. They have in-depth communication with a student of Rassian Language and Literature Major on issues concerning of involution, self-cognition, independent thinking and so forth. The leaders answered the students question with their self experience and using allusions so as to show her how to embark on the right path. After the communication, the student expressed that it is a rare opportunity and experience to have a long and in-depth conversation with the Dean and the Party Secretary. She also said that this conversation has upgraded her mind and had renewed understandings on issues concerned.

Brief Introduction of Reception Day of Dean and Party Secretary

Since this semester, School of Foreign Studies has begun to carry out Reception Day of Dean and Party Secretary in a bid to build a platform for the communication between the school and students, promote forming a sound feedback mechanism on information transition between the school, teachers and students, and improve schools efficiency and effect on teaching, researching and administrative works. Dean and Party Secretary will communicate with teachers and students face to face, knowing their demands, hearing their opinions and answering their questions, so as to enhance the level and quality of administration and service of the school. Reception Day of Dean and Party Secretary is held in Academic Hall of the school on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. The activity will collect questions and demands of teachers and students in advance so that the leaders of the school are able to make full preparation for every question and demand to improve the efficiency and effect of the activity.
