On March 31st, 2021, a conference was held in School of Foreign Studies of UPC for the plan of the education of CPC history. It was presided over by Zou Weizhong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SFS, and attended by leaders and members of the committee. Zhang Yongning, secretary of the committee delivered a report at the conference.
The report was drawn up to mobilize party members in four aspects of the education: significance, goals and requirements, work plan, and unique features. According to Secretary Zhang Yongning, all party members must realize the importance of the education of CPC history in prior conferences and speeches of leaders, and the activity “I DO PRACTICAL WORK FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS” should be carried out orderly in groups; concrete results should also be achieved by adopting effective approaches and following the ideological guide of CPC.
Zhang also said, we should aim to combine the education with five fields: the formulation and implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the SFS, distinctive features of disciplines of SFS, teacher’s moral construction and the cultivation of talents, political inspections, and the building of iconic college of party’s construction. He also urged all leaders and party members in SFS to be down-to-earth in their actions throughout the whole event.
Zhang QingRong, vice-minister of the Department of Teachers’ Work, stressed that, we should underline ideological and political education in classes, increase publicity for greater depth of learning, and deal with problems of development of SFS on a collective basis.
In the end, Zhang Yongning sorted out the task priorities of SFS party committee in 2021 and called upon all party branches to put them into practices, a celebration to mark the centenary of the founding of CPC.
