On July 20, 2020, the fifth round of meeting was held to promote the discipline evaluation work. Members of the leading group and working group for the school’s fifth round of discipline evaluation attended the meeting. It was presided over by Sun Daman, the vice dean of School and deputy leader of the working group.
During the meeting, Sun Daman introduced the index system and requirements of the fifth round of subject evaluation of humanities, social science and artistic theory, and highlighted the major changes in the evaluation index system compared with the previous four rounds in terms of talent cultivation quality, faculty and resources, scientific research level, social service and academic reputation. The participants discussed the connotation and requirements of the evaluation index system, and formulated the division of tasks and specific work requirements of the evaluation, so as to realize the responsibility of evaluation preparation work of each evaluation index and make clear the standards.
At the end of the meeting, Zhang Yongning, leader of the fifth round of discipline evaluation leading group and secretary of the school Party committee, introduced the situation of the 14th Five Year Plan promotion meeting, conveyed the speech spirit of president Hao Fang and vice president Liu Huadong at the meeting, and put forward requirements for the fifth round of discipline evaluation work in combination with the speech spirit. He pointed out that the fifth round of discipline evaluation is the first time for the School since its establishment. It is a test for the past discipline construction work, and the assessment results are one of the important bases for formulating the development plan of the School. He stressed that discipline evaluation is an important work for the school development. To lay a good foundation for school’s 14th Five Year Plan, all teachers and students must attach great importance to it, overcome difficulties and overtake responsibilities, guarantying the success of the discipline evaluation work and striving for the best evaluation results.
