College of Arts pursued further development with the strategy of revitalization through talents. Thus, on the basis of soliciting public opinions, two programs were launched, one of which was “Famous Teachers as Leading Role”, and the other was called “Young Elite Teachers Support”. On the afternoon of October 11th, Han Shuqin, deputy dean of College of Arts, presided over the sign ceremony of the two programs in Room 358 of Art and Science Building. Other attendees included Wang Xuedong, dean of College of Arts, teachers chosen in the two programs and representatives of each department.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Han shuqin introduced the background of launching the two programs and the selected teachers. Then, Wang Xuedong, issued the certificate and liability certificate for the teachers chosen in two programs. Sun Xiuli, Guo Yueqin and Sun Daman were issued the certificate of the program of Famous Teachers. Dong Jinxin, Chun Liu and Men Hongli were issued the certificate of the program of Young Elite Teachers.Han expressed her congratulations to these teachers.Besides, she hoped these teachers could play a leading role to bring teaching and scientific research to a new height.
At the end of the meeting, Wang Xuedong concluded that the implementation of the program of the “Famous teachers” aimed to give full play to the leading, demonstrating and leading roles in a series of teaching work and research, such as the construction of teaching teams and the guidance of young teachers. He said, “The three teachers are the outstanding representatives and the precious wealth of our college. They have played active leading roles in disciplines and professional construction. I hope that they can make persistent efforts and make new achievements in teaching and scientific research.” At the same time, he also hoped that Dong Jinxin, Chun Liu and Men Hongli, who were selected into the program of “Young elite teachers”, could make greater efforts in teaching and scientific research. “Being selected in this program is both pressure and motivation, and you need to endeavor more to the development of College of Arts in the future.
