Supported by “International CommunicationFund Program for Undergraduates”, 12 members( teachers and students) from Russian department of College of Arts had communication and Exchange activities in Perm State University on summer camp from 8th to 21st in August. First, teachers and students took part in the verbal communication course in Russian language, especially words and expressions for daily use in Russian. Besides, students visited the border museum in Perm, anthropology museum, and art museum.Then, invited by a Russian professor, students had an unforgettable experience in her cabin, having the firsthand engagement of rural life in Russia.From these activities, students found that what they had learned in class could not accurately match with the daily use of Russian and they felt beneficial from these activities.
During the summer camp, Jiang Xunlu, leading teacher in Russian department, had a seminar withIgor Mihajlovi ( the head of the department of foreign affairs in PSU) and Boris Wakimovich (the director of the Russian department in PSU). They exchanged views on deepening cooperation.Summer camp acted as a bridge not only for interschool exchanges but also for friendship between two universities. In the meantime, students discussed learning experience with students in Russian department in PSU, having an understanding of diverse lifestyles from each other.
