Recently, it's learned from the Teacher Development Center that four teachers of our college returned from 2016 Teaching Competition for the Young Teachers with tremendous success—Kang Leishan had won the second prize, Sun Yuchao, Men Hongli and Liu Yuanyuan the third prizes.
The competition, hosted once a year, has been seen as a required course of job training for every newly recruited young teacher. Our college places a premium on the work of competition. We has organized prep-training for each department, combining gather-training with experts instruction in order to enhance young teachers' teaching level.
Reciprocally, the competition offers young teachers a platform to show and exchange. Ithelps to booster reforms in teaching contents, methods and facilities, urging youth teachers to temper teaching skills and commit to teaching researches. It has been successfully held 19 times since 1990,and in 2012 it has been listed onPromotion Project for Young Teachers' Teaching Qualities. This year, 70 competitors contended in the match in form of syllabus rating, classroom teaching and methodology show, producing 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes and 10 third prizes.
